| Description: | Utopic Gardens is a creation of Ash and Angela's love of Nature and their desire to create beautiful spaces that will facilitate the connection between people and their landscapes. It is important to Ash & Angela that they are available and present to communicate and listen to the individual needs, wishes and concerns of their client, so they work on only one project at a time. Their favorite types of landscapes to install are California Casual, Mediterranean, Drought Resistant, California Native and the on the opposite end of the spectrum, where it's possible, Tropical landscapes. They also appreciate the opportunity to create any garden of their client’s desires, as you will notice from their Photo Gallery. Beautiful, well planned landscape begins with a consultation, which usually only takes about an hour to carefully observe environmental exposure, conditions, location, architecture of home, views of the garden from every angle, including the important views looking out from within the home. Existing issues, concerns, ideas and budget are discussed to determine the scope of the project and whether it can be completed in one phase or if necessary, how to divide it into two or more phases. A sketch may be drawn, during the consultation, to help the client visualize the concept that Ash and Angela formulate from all the gathered information or if a 'to scale' drawing is desired, a cost for doing so will be quoted at that time. Ash and Angela appreciate their unique opportunity to do what they love, be outside, having their hands in the soil and creating beautiful landscapes where hopes and desires vary with each new client and situation. They feel that their job description is constantly growing and evolving and consider it a blessing! |
