• Learning Strategies Unlimited is an educational therapy practice that provides 1-to-1 academic and organizational support to children, teens, and adults. Its founder, Susan E. Taber, is one of two Board Certified Educational Therapists on the East Coast, who uses direct, systematic strategy instruction to ensure that clients "learn how to learn for life". At Learning Strategies Unlimited, students from grades 3 through 12 gain an understanding of themselves as learners in order to use strategic approaches that complement their learning styles and to effectively self-advocate at school. During educational therapy, organizational or academic coaching, an emphasis is placed on strengthening students' planning, decision-making, and building academic self-esteem as the underpinnings for successful school experiences. College-bound students receive support for PSAT, SAT, and ACT preparation as well as with writing essays that accompany college applications. Susan's very successful high school-to-college transitioning program focuses on planning, organizing, studying, reading, writing papers, and taking tests, among other college-related concerns. Adults come to Learning Strategies Unlimited as college students, graduate students, professionals preparing for licensing exams, or workers looking to improve their organization and efficiency. Learning Strategies Unlimited is an office-based learning center and serves all towns. It is accessible from Rtes 3, 2, 495, and 95 (Rte 128). Services are offered year-round, and since all sessions are individualized, registration occurs on a rolling basis.
