About Northwest Merchant Patrol
Northwest Merchant Patrol was started in 1986 as a dedicated Beaverton area patrol company.
Over the course of many years, the company has grown and expanded to include more ground in the Portland metropolitan area. In the dedication over the years of providing quality and professionalism for our clients, NW Merchant Patrol has maintained a good reputation and quality of service for well over 20 years. Administration
Our most important and vital employees are, of course, our dedicated Officers however, due to the excellent management team we have; we are able to maintain those Officers and exceed our clients expectations. We offer multiple forms of communication including email, voice mail, phone, dispatch and fax. While other companies are only available to help during normal business hours, we are here to take your call, all hours, all days. NW Merchant Patrol has developed a strong, effective and proactive management team. Our administration team consists of energetic, motivated, experienced management personnel who always looking for better, more effective ways of providing the best security services in the area. We have a dedicated administration team to be proactive and responsive to all client needs 24/7.
Extensive Training
We take great pride and understand the importance of excellence in training. This is why we make sure our staff is fully trained on every aspect of security, safety, prevention, policies, state laws, law enforcement rules and are constantly refreshed with this information. All NW Merchant Patrol employees meet all state licensing and requirements, whether they are a security Officer or administration. Not only is our staff certified by the Oregon Department of Safety Standards and Training, upon completion of the state training, each employee goes through an in housetraining program. Each individual completes all company training before setting foot on the client’s property.
The proven success of the current hiring process has permitted Patrol Merchant to focus on selecting qualified candidates who desire a professional career in security rather than simply obtaining a job. Patrol - Our patrol officers have years of experience in the field, most are hired for their prior experience in law enforcement; military; or extensive security. Our patrol officers are highly trained; equipped; and you can customize our patrol services to your own property needs with as many or as little patrols per night as needed. Alarm response is included in every patrol service.
Onsite Officers – We have a 24/7 staff of Officers ready to stand post at any time. Our onsite Officers are highly trained, experienced and come with the skills to protect your assets and employees. Onsite Officers can be used as a property management representative, a visual Presence and/or deterrent, traffic/parking control, 24/7 access control, etc. Onsite Officers are a recommended service for any commercial Class “A” to “C” buildings, residential communities, corporate event or environment, retail or jewelry stores, fire watches, temporary work , construction projects or new developments and many more.
• Class A. These buildings represent the highest quality buildings in their market. Class A buildings are typically well-located, have good access, and are professionally managed.
• Class B. Class B buildings are generally a little older, but still have good quality management and tenants. Often times, value-added investor’s target these buildings as investments since well-located Class B buildings can be returned to their Class A glory through renovation such as facade and common area improvements.
• Class C. These are older buildings (usually more than 20), and are located in less desirable areas and are in need of extensive renovation. Class C buildings are often targeted as re-development opportunities.
Alarm Response Only – By having Northwest Merchant Patrol respond to your alarms, you are avoiding costly false alarm fees from the city, state and fire departments. You will also be receiving, fast responses by highly trained Officers that can handle the situation appropriately as a representative of your property.
Escorts – We provide security escorts for highly valued property such as: jewelry, money deliveries, ATM escorts for when you need to do maintenance and personal security/safety escorts.
Lock & Un-Lock – Whether you are requesting on-site or patrol services we can provide your property with lock and/or un-lock services.
Lock-Out – If a tenant or resident is locked out of their tenant space or apartment, if provided with keys, we can offer the ability to respond and with proof of resident or tenant agreement we can gain them access back into their space.
