It is about an hour and a half to forty five minutes driving time from the DC area. The tavern has been in existence since 1943 and has seen a few other names and owners. Scooter's name is brand new and is under new management. Scooter’s offers a daily happy hour, other daily beverage specials, weekend karaoke/disc jockey, and basic bar fare in which the menu is still under construction.
