- Hiatt Auto Sales has been doing business in Santa Rosa CA since 1963 under the direction of Mr. John Hiatt Owner/Operator. We currently sell all makes and models and try to keep vehicles in our inventory between the prices of $3000 to $10, 000. We do sell cars for cash but mostly we provide our customers with special financing. Our BUY HERE PAY HERE program is simple and straight forward: It is intended to allow those people who would not qualify for example a Credit Union loan or that have generally been turned down in other locations. We essentially borrow the money from the bank for the customer using the car as collateral and the stack some additional interest on top of what we are being charged. the interest we are charged by the banks rates vary from month to month but we offer a steady 21.046% to anyone who needs it, that calculates out to about $1 per day for every $3000 you borrow per year. Since our cars are our collateral we do our best to make sure they are in top condition before listing them for sale. Every vehicle undergoes a 72 point inspection including pressure testing the cooling system and making sure the brakes have a minimum of 50% life remaining and true rotors. Although this inspection in time consuming and can be costly, we believe it makes for better cars that can practically sell themselves and offers a huge reduction in come backs as far as unhappy customers with car problems after the sale. We do not currently offer any warranties at this time, we believe that money's that would go to an aftermarket warranty company are much better kept in the customers pocket until such a time as they are required, and then we offer help and huge savings in fixing whatever problem arises. This is great because you don't have to look through the warranty companies list of not covered items (electrical etc...) or get turned away because of fault or because the warranty period expired a few days ago.
