| Description: | Anna P's Personal Care Home is located in Covington Georgia (approx 30 miles east of Atlanta Georgia) and we are licensed by the State of Georgia. We serve elderly women that are unable to live alone but do not require a skilled nursing or medical facility. Short and long term care is available. Some facilities for the elderly state they have a "home-like environment" but Anna P's Personal Care Home is actually a HOME which is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Our home is clean, well-kept, peaceful and cheerful. The owner lives in the home, is the primary caregiver and trained to work with the elderly. Our primary focus is to ensure the overall health and welfare of our residents. We design activities to meet their interests and needs which include regular exercises for the body and mind; bingo; card games; bowling; movie afternoon; puzzles; Bible study. The newspaper is delivered daily and several magazines are delivered monthly. Transportation to the local Senior Citizen Center is provided for appropriate residents. Some of our outings include trips to the movies, restaurants, ballgames, church and the aquarium. Birthdays are celebrated and family and friend are invited. Fire alarm and fire sprinkler system are installed. Our bedrooms are furnished with a single bed, night table, lamp, chest of drawers, an armchair, hamper, a small lock box, window treatments and pictures. |
