We are a bed & breakfast located in Ninilchik the center of "Alaska's playground", the Kenai Penisula. Our home is one of the original homesteads in the area. We have five bedrooms in the house and a cabin behind the house. Local charters that place their customers here say we have the cleanest lodging in the area. Our home cooked breakfast will start you of on your Kenai adventure. There are many things to do on the Kenai including, sportfishing in the Cook Inlet and the world famous Kenai & Russian rivers, plus numerous other rivers, creeks and lakes. Clam digging and beachcombing are enjoyed by tourist's and local's. Flightseeing, river rafting, hiking and hunting for moose and bear with camera or firearm are also favorites. For the winter enthusiast there's snowshoeing, crosscountry skiing and snowmobiling,incuding two hundred miles of groomed trails in the Caribou Hills. The drive from Anchorage to Homer is designated as one of America's most scenic. Homer is the"Halibut Fishing Capital of The World". There many churches in the area,including two beautiful Russian Orthidox that are a favorite of photographer's. One of those is located here in Ninilchik and the other in Kenai, the oldest city in Alaska. For the experiance of a lifetime come let Captain Ran & his Mrs.Ann share our playground with you!
