Opened in 2006 by owner Andy Yildirim, the shop does everything from furniture repainting and repairs to caning chairs, custom upholstery and wood finishing. Yildirim, who has numerous years of experience in the field, has been working in carpentry and upholstery since he was 7 years old in Istanbul, Turkey. After he finished school, he took it on as a full-time career and came to America to perfect his many skills and talents. Customer service is his specialty, as he and his assistant are willing to travel to homes to check out large pieces of furniture and give free estimates. He also offers free delivery and has clients from all over Bergen County - from Englewood and Englewood Cliffs to Demarest and Norwood. This family business has lasted the test of time as it is now one of the only upholstery shops in town. Yildirim works directly with both clients and designers to give them exactly what they are looking for. In addition, customers are welcome to bring in their own fabrics or browse through the wide selection of more than 300 fabric books available at the store.
