- Pinal Rural Fire Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer fire and EMS department. We have one Paramedic, three EMT-Bs, seven firefighters, and more volunteers. We serve a rural Pinal County area shown on a map on our website: www.pinalruralfirerescue.webs.com We operate on a tiny budget of subscription fees and donations only. Currently we have started the "Borrow an AED Program" where we have a Cardiac Science AED which is loaned out to any school or community event. We have created Post 625 of the Fire Explorer Program for any youth ages 14-20 who wish to join. Call Bud Paine at 520-465-5300. We became available to the public in our designated 911 area and all neighboring areas (through mutual aid) on March 15, 2012. Donations are very appreciated as it's expensive to maintain fire trucks, our rescue, gear, supplies, and diesel. We are also in the planning stage of a nice, 3-bay fire station to be built on donated land near Mammoth, AZ.
