Of Greek decent, he grew up in Worcester, graduated from Doherty High School in Worcester and later moved on to take classes as Worcester State and WPI. Don purchased his first three decker in Worcester in 1982 and is now known as the Three Decker King. The Three Decker industry started in Worcester because of the vast industries that came to Worcester. The three deckers were created for the employees within the industry, being close enough to work and accommodate the needs of the vast amount of employees. This trend created such a large market in the Worcester area for three deckers, making them so popular today.
Don is very acclimated with the Worcester real estate community, being aware of the market trends which makes selling and buying such properties through Theo Properties very rewarding. This knowledge of the community creates a trust when selling and buying properties in the Worcester area. Though Don is not a building expert, he has 26 years experience in the real estate community and in this time, has created close relationships with contractors that he can refer clients to.
As a newly licensed real estate agent in 1981 Don Theo joined Haddad Real Estate where he worked for approximately 4 years. In 1985, he was a co-partner of Park Avenue Realty from 1985-1989. In 1989, Don Theo opened Theo Properties. Theo Properties has been successful for 18 years and is looking to expand throughout Massachusetts.
Don Theo is a member of The St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Worcester. He is fluent in Greek so working with him is great for both English and Greek speaking cultures. Don Theo has also has been involved with the community by chairing the 3 consecutive Grecian Festivals in Worcester.
Don Theo is also a member of the Worcester Board of Realtors as well as the Worcester Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau, National Board of Realtors, the Massachusetts Board of Realtor and the National REO Brokers Association. Don Theo has also been the past Vice President of the Board of Directors . He has been involved with the Worcester Community for 20 years and looks forward to working more with the community. Don Theo enjoys sport fishing on his boat down on Cape Cod. In his spare time, he also plays rugby. He has two cherished daughters, Adria & Alexa that he enjoys every moment spent with them.
