| Description: | Dr. Farris was born in San Francisco and raised in Mountain View where he attended Saint Francis High School. After receiving a Master of Science degree in Biology from UC Berkeley he attended UOP School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Being able to come back home to Mountain View to treat family and friends has been very special to him. Dr. Farris takes continuing education classes on a regular basis and has extensive training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He is president of the Northern California Academy for Dental Research and a lifelong member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Mid- Peninsula Dental Society. Tom, as many of his patients call him, lives in Los Altos with his wife and has two grown children. He enjoys all sports, especially teaching and playing golf, tennis, and swimming. He also likes to cook, listen to music, and travel. |
