At Ridge Creek Piano Studio students gain the benefits of private one-on-one lessons with the fun and interaction of group lessons which are held three times a year. Lesson plans are developed weekly for each student and they are tailored to fit the individual student taking into account their learning style and their personality. It is the teacher's goal to make learning not only effective but also fun and exciting through learning games and motivational programs. All private lessons are high energy and are different each week so students do not lose interest but are always excited to come to private lessons. Students are helped to understand HOW to practice, not just told what to practice so their time at home is more productive, focused and enjoyable. Along with Private and Group Lessons students have recital opportunities, fun in studio motivational competitions like the Practice Contest and Goal Challenge, and student's may choose to take part in out-of-studio competition opportunities such as National Guild Auditions, however these out-of-studio competitions are always optional and the level of involvement is up to the student and parent. Lessons are offered Monday through Thursday in the teacher’s studio creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where students can relax, be themselves and enjoy the music they are making and the concepts they are learning.
