The name may have changed, but the great tasting coffee and edibles remain the same. New owner Rocio Ruiz has re-opened the seventeen year old coffee shop in the Manor Square Plaza. The new name, El Sazon, translates to “The Seasoning” in Spanish, typical of the food they serve. El Sazon’s coffee beans come freshly roasted from a local roaster that buys directly from farmers. The café offers a variety of fresh pastries such as bagels, muffins and rolls purchased daily from local bakeries to help support small business neighbors. El Sazon also offers breakfast sandwiches, a Classic Turkey Avocado sandwich paired with a delicious Dutch Crunch Roll, as well as authentic tasting tamales. The coffee shop’s cheerful and pleasant décor is ideal for group meetings and individuals who desire quiet time for reading or internet access. Catering is also available with advance notice.
