As an inspector, I always approach an inspection with the attitude that the home is already sold - the deal is already done. The client has decided THIS IS THE HOUSE! Nothing I can discover will make him doubt his decision.
With this in mind, I want to scour the home and, in 2-3 hours (or more) learn everything I can about the home. The I will turn around and use that information to introduce the client to his new home.
What Really Matters - in a home sale, the buyer has a lot of information thrown at him - contracts, reports, inspections, surveys, appraisals, yada,yada... The home inspection is a key part of this process, and seems to really turn up the confusion and stress. Don't let that happen. Make sure you remember what Really Matters. |
