Soot is the result of candles that are burned. Soot is a residue that can be hazardous to your health and coat your furnishings with a film. With Scentsy we don't have that problem because our wax only emits the scent and the wax remains in the warmer. Once the scent is gone you simply dispose of the wax. The other great advantage to Scentsy is no worries of a flame starting a fire or burning people or pets. Our warmers are electric and include a 25-watt bulb.
