| Description: | Rolling Prairie Enterprises is a home-based,one-woman run, eclectic business. It includes beaded jewelry, silk floral arrangements, gift baskets,all made by Deborah, and generally made-to-order. I (Deborah) also offer pet toys(created to order for your bird or cat) and treats(made fresh upon order) for birds, cats and dogs. Further, Rolling Prairie Enterprises seeks to promote Green Living, and is currently seeking grants to erect a backyard wind turbine, solar panels, etc.(these would also benefit the local power grid!). Also, there are a number of beneficial plants being "wildcrafted", including ragweed, burdock, dandelion, and stinging nettle. Other herbs will be grown, organically, beginning Spring 2008. Rolling Prairie will also be seeking grants and other aid to create housing for retreats, camps, seminars, and workshops which promote the green living ideal; animal care; and spirituality, and alternative health modalities; also, once facilities are created, RPE wishes to provide free camps for families with children with disabilities. Deborah is also a distributor for the Eniva and Nature's Sunshine lines of health supplements and home care items.Future offerings will (hopefully) include eclectic shirts, bumper stickers, and other unique "gift" items; small gym for the public to use, including basic yoga and other "classes". RPE is dedicated to a healthy, compassionate and sustainable life style. | |
