| Description: | besecker and coss was started in 1953 by francis besecker and emmett coss as an appliance service company and later began to sell and service home appliances.after the death of mr. besecker in 1965 his son in law john gerringer moved up from service tech to help mr. coss run the business.In 1974 mr. coss retired and mr. gerringer and his wife phyllis(besecker)gerringer ran the business until thier retirement in 1998. Today the business is run by their 3 children, john gerringer jr., michael gerringer and charmaine(gerringer)bean. 3 generations of providing quality service for the olean area. besecker and coss was just awarded the olean area chamber of commerce Enterprising business award in 2006 and will be adding a new addition very soon. | |
