Barbalu, is a family owned Italian restaurant that was born after Super Storm Sandy destroyed our old restaurant back in October 29th 2012. The whole Historic Seaport in Manhattan suffered a great deal and for more than one and a half year, businesses were closed. We got back in our feet right away and fought against everything, to start as soon as possible, and we finally opened again in October 11th 2013 and our bigger skylite section, 4 months later.
It had been a continuous and hard work, but everyday we go to work with the faith that our Seaport area will rise again and things will start looking alive again.
We serve homemade Italian pastas, and a well studied menu that will make you come back for more!
