  • Multiple food items were left out in the prep area without time or temperature control. Hot foods that are left out must be kept above 135 °F or labeled with a discard time that is 4 hours from when they were cooked.
  • Sliced tomatoes were found at 60 °F. Once sliced, tomatoes must be kept under 41 °F, or labeled with a discard time that is six hours from when they were sliced and kept below 70 °f.
  • A dish was left in the hand wash sink. Designated hand sinks may only be used for hand washing.
  • Frozen ready to eat foods were stored in bags on top of bags of raw meat. Raw meat and eggs must be stored below and away from ready to eat foods.
  • Raw beef was kept above lemons. Raw meat and eggs must be stored below and away from ready to eat foods.
  • Knifes were stored in deteriorating paper sheaths. When knifes are brough to the restaraunt, they must be washed and stored in a clean dry location.

A food establishment shall employ at least one person assigned to each shift of twelve (12) or fewer hours who: (1) Meets the "person in charge" definition found in the Texas Food Establishment Rules; and (2) Has a valid and current food manager's certificate issued by the director. Manager must show proof of Food Manager Certification. Once a valid Food Manager's certification is obtained, proceed to 1901 S. Alamo (DBSC) Health Department desk to purchase ($15.45) a Metro Health ID.
  • Observed employee drinking while making stir fry. Employees must not eat, chew, drink from an open cup and use tobacco while in the food service line.
  • Observed drink with out lids on the sandwich cooler. Employees must drink from clean closed beverage containers with cleans hands and away from food prep areas.

we eat here every few weeks. We are treated as regulars. With the chile peppers I CAN SPICE MY FOOD UP WHILE MY WIFE CAN WIMP OUT
