Lansing: Geography and ClimateLansing is located on the Grand River at its junction with the Red Cedar. The area climate alternates between continental and semi-marine. When little or no wind is present, the weather becomes continental, producing pronounced fluctuations in temperature. The weather turns semi-marine with a strong wind from the Great Lakes.
