    Alter or replace this item to provide a surface that is free of unnecessary ledges, projections, and crevices.
  • 3170 - Ceiling in serving line area (ceiling tile missing)is not maintained in good repair.
    Maintain physical facilities in good repair. Poor repair and maintenance compromises the functionality of the physical facilities.
  • 3180 - Ceiling in the serving line area, floor under #10 cans rack and under milk crates used to store boxes containing single-use articles in the small storage room noted in need of cleaning.
    All floors, walls, and ceilings must be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean. Cleaning of the physical facilities is an important measure in ensuring the protection and sanitary preparation of food. A regular cleaning schedule should be established and followed to maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary manner.

April 11, 2008 (Routine)



Violation: 3080 - Less than 10 foot candles of light was noted in the single-use articles and cleaning agents storage.
Provide at least 10 foot candles at a distance of 30 inches from the floor in the walk-in refrigeration units and dry storage areas and in other areas and rooms during periods of cleaning. Replace the two burned light bulbs.
Comments:
Employees observed using hairnets and gloves while working with foods. Good date marking system in place as well as good handwashing practices observed.
Changes in the serving line area will be done. Blueprints for these changes will be sent to VDH for review. New equipment will be added.

August 24, 2007 (Routine)

Comments:
No violations observed during this inspection. Food Code 2005 Pocket Guide was given to person in charge. Keep up the good work!!

Reminder: As of March 1st 2007 all potentially hazardous food shall be kept cold holding at 41°F or less.
