3080 - Less than 20 foot candles of light was noted in the men's restroom. 5 foot candles measured at the urinal and 10 foot candles measured at the toilet. Provide at least 20 foot candles at a distance of 30 inches from the floor in consumer self-service areas, inside equipment, warewashing, equipment storage, toilet rooms
The facility is in substantial compliance with the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health Food Regulations. The Certificate of Occupancy is needed prior to issuing the Health Department permit to operate. Please fax when received and I will fax you a copy of the health permit. You may bring in food and train employees after the certificate of occupancy is received, but you may not prepare or serve foods to the public until the health department permit is issued. The following additional items are needed: Final cleaning of facility, including detailed cleaning of the restrooms and floors Clean and sanitize the meat slicer and any food contact surfaces and small wares that has not yet been cleaned. Clean inside pizza prep unit. Clean interior of bar cabinets. Clean mixer. Paint 2 x 4 wood inside bar cabinets. Continue repairing the wall behind the mop sink where the plumbing is located. Ensure the wall is smooth and closed around the pipes. Paint any exposed drywall or spackle. I recommend placing a collar around the pipe for a nice seal. Sand and paint wall behind mixer where hand sink was previously. Remove soap and paper towel dispenser were hand sink was previously. Repair the small leak in the water line for the toilet in the woman's restroom. Install toilet paper holders in restrooms. Attach cove base at bottom of cabinets in the bar- it's falling off. Caulk small crack in lid to ice machine. I recommend replacing light fixtures in the restrooms with clear covers to allow more illumination throughout the room.
