When asked why the gloves were still on she said she intended to take them off after eating.
  • 3-301.11 - Critical Food employee failed to wash his or her hands. There was no soap at the handsink when I asked an employee how she washed her hands she said she rinsed them with water.
  • 3-304.11 - Critical Food in contact with soiled equipment or utensils. Black mold observed in ice machine.
  • 3-501.16 (A) (2) - Critical Ham, chicken, and turkey cold holding at improper temperatures. Sandwich unit not working properly. Owner advised not to store PHF in unit until it has been repaired and holds the correct temp. All food out of temperature voluntarily discarded.

    All employees who are eating must be in the designated break area away from food preparation/handling areas to prevent cross contamination.
  • 3-301.11 - Critical Food employee failed to wash his or her hands. There was no soap at the handsink when I asked an employee how she washed her hands she said she rinsed them with water.
    Ensure all food employees clean their hands and exposed portions of their arms with soap at a hand sink by vigorously rubbing together the surfaces of their lathered hands and arms for at least 20 seconds and thoroughly rinsing with clean water.
  • 3-304.11 - Critical Food in contact with soiled equipment or utensils. Black mold observed in ice machine.
    Use only cleaned and sanitized utensils or equipment during food preparation.
  • 3-501.16 (A) (2) - Critical Ham, chicken, and turkey cold holding at improper temperatures. Sandwich unit not working properly. Owner advised not to store PHF in unit until it has been repaired and holds the correct temp. All food out of temperature voluntarily discarded.
    Discard the food and ensure that potentially hazardous foods for cold holding are maintained at 41F or below to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.
  • 5-205.11 - Critical The handwashing facility located at the kitchen is blocked, preventing access by employees for easy handwashing.
    Access to the handwashing facility identified above is to be available during all hours of operation. Remove the chair and trash can preventing its use.
  • 6-301.11 - Corrected During Inspection Soap was not provided at the hand washing lavatory in the kitchen
    Hand soap must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing. Hand cleanser must always be present to aid in reducing microorganisms and particulate matter found on hands.
Comments:
All violations discussed with the owner. No PHF to be stored in sandwich unit 2 until it has been repaired. Will reinspect in one week.

  • 4-602.13 - The nonfood contact surface of the Toaster catch tray had accumulations of grime and debris.
    Clean the surface at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues that become encrusted or attract insects and rodents.
