0800 - Critical Pinto Beans cooling since 10 am noted not being adequately cooled to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. Cool potentially hazardous foods prepared from ingredients at ambient temperature to 41F or below within 4 hours. A longer time for cooling allows an ideal situation for bacterial growth. This has been shown to be the major contributing factor in many foodborne illnesses. When food reaches 135 degrees it should reach 71 within 2 hours of reaching 71. Once food reaches 71 it should be cooled to 41 with in the next 4 hours for a total of 6 hours
1510 - The person in charge could not provide a food temperature measuring device. Obtain at least one food temperature measuring device so employees can properly monitor the temperature of food items in the establishment.
Facility must add consumer advisory to menu before next visit for eggs and hamburgers.
