  • 2790 - The indoor floor material located at Walk-In Refrigeration Unit does not meet the standard of: 1. smooth, durable and easily cleanable 2. closely woven and easily cleanable carpet 3. nonabsorbent
  • 3030 - No disposable towels were provided at the hand washing lavatory in the Food Prep. Facility.
  • 3080 - Less than 10 foot candles of light was noted in the Continental Freezer - Light Burnt Out.
  • 3170 - Physical structure is not maintained in good repair. Knobs missing on buffet line equipment - have been ordered. Also need to check vent fan in food prep. area restroom for proper operation.

    Elevate food storage onto approved shelving with minimum 6" legs or casters.
  • 1530 - There is no properly working test kit provided in the facility for monitoring the concentration of the chemical sanitizing solutions.
    Obtain a quaternary and chlorine test kit so that employees can accurately monitor the concentration of the sanitizing solutions and maintain them at a safe and effective level.
  • 1770 C - Observed accumulations of dust, dirt, food residue or other debris on the following nonfood-food contact surfaces: gaskets of the reach in units, exterior and interior of the reach in freezer, the floor of the walk in freezer and the interior of the oven.
    Maintain nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment clean.

  • 1060 - The nonfood contact surface of the EQUIPMENT is not corrosion resistant, nonabsorbent, and/or smooth. Bottom of Manitowoc Freezer - Absorbant Cardboard Frozen to bottom of Unit.
    Nonfood contact equipment that is exposed to splash, spillage, food soiling, or requires frequent cleaning must be smooth, durable, and nonabsorbent.
  • 1720 - A sanitizer test kit is not being used to ensure the chemical sanitizing solution(s) are at the proper concentration. Need Quaternary Ammonium Test Kit.
    Use a SANITIZING AGENT chemical test kit to ensure the sanitizing solution is maintained at the proper solution.
  • 1790 - The cavity of the microwave oven is observed soiled.
    Using the manufacturer's recommended cleaning procedure, clean the microwave oven at least every 24 hours.
  • 2790 - The indoor floor material located at Walk-In Refrigeration Unit does not meet the standard of: 1. smooth, durable and easily cleanable 2. closely woven and easily cleanable carpet 3. nonabsorbent
    Refinish or replace the floor material at the area designated so it is: 1. smooth, durable and easily cleanable 2. nonabsorbent
  • 3030 - No disposable towels were provided at the hand washing lavatory in the Food Prep. Facility.
    Hand drying devices such as individual disposable paper towels, a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel or heated air hand drying device must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing and avoid employees to drying their hands on their clothing or other unclean materials
  • 3080 - Less than 10 foot candles of light was noted in the Continental Freezer - Light Burnt Out.
    Provide at least 10 foot candles at a distance of 30 inches from the floor in refrigeration units and dry storage areas and in other areas and rooms during periods of cleaning.
  • 3170 - Physical structure is not maintained in good repair. Knobs missing on buffet line equipment - have been ordered. Also need to check vent fan in food prep. area restroom for proper operation.

New Cabinet Doors installed in Food Service Area - Looks Great.
PLEASE NOTE: Auto Dishwash Machine tested at time of this inspection - Wash and Final Rinse Temp. of 133 Deg. F. with No Chemical Sanitizing Step noted. If Auto Dishwash Machine is to be utilized, dishes must be manually sanitized via a dip in sanitizer basin of 3 - compartment sink "OR" Auto Dishwash Machine will need to be altered and set up for Sanitizing Step by either High Heat (180 Deg. F.) or Chemical application (50 PPM CL2 Res.).
Food Facility appears to be in substantial compliance with Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health Food Regulations - Seasonal Food Facility Permit to be issued.
