This visit was made to conduct a change of ownership inspection. Food establishment installed the following new hot water heater: State Industries (CSB12036SFEX 100) Input 45 KW *New hot water heater is sufficient to meet the required recovery rate for the entire grocery store. The following item shall be corrected within 30 days: 1. Provide a properly adjustable lever for the wash compartment of the 3-compartment sink to allow adequate flow of discharge water into floor sink. *Approved for change of ownership, recommend issuance of Alexandria Health Department permit. This visit was made to conduct a change of ownership inspection. Prior to merge (re-opening), the following items require correction: 1. Hot water heat is 57% and 46% insufficient and shall be replaced with a hot water heater with enough input to meet facilities peak hot water demand. 2. Replace floor sink cover at 3-compartment sink to provide sufficient drainage. 3. Burnt out lights and damaged light covers shall be replaced. All light fixtures shall be properly covered or protected with shields and end caps (cake freezer). 4. Dry storage ceiling tiles are no longer cleanable and shall be replaced. Additional ceiling tiles throughout bakery are not properly constructed or in poor repair and shall be replaced. 5. Floor juncture into walk-in cooler is in poor repair and shall be repaired. Additionally, original shipping wrap still on stainless steel floor/wall coving and shall be removed if possible or replace coving to provide a surface which is smooth and easily cleanable. 6. Packaging table is in poor repair and exposing bare wood and shall be either resurfaced or replaced. 7. Provide a properly adjustable lever for the wash compartment of the 3-compartment sink to allow adequate flow of discharge water into floor sink. 8. Ceiling has dust build up and shall be cleaned and maintained. 9. Grouting throughout bakery is in poor repair and shall be re-grouted. 10. Caulk/seal hand sink and 3-compartment sink junctures to wall. 11. Seal prep table to walls. 12. Display counters are in need of cleaning.
