Violations:
  • 1150 - Homestyle knife blocks used for knife storage.
    Homestyle knife blocks are not approved for commercial use since they are not easily cleanable. Provide approved knife storage such as magnetic knife strip or approved rack.
  • 1550 - Dish spray sink no longer sealed to the wall.
    Seal the sink to the wall.
  • 2000 - Whisks improperly stored in pitcher in pantry area.
    Store whisks with the handles presented upwards.
  • 2830 - Sections of the floor-wall junctures in the pantry area aren ot sealed (gaps exist).
    Seal the floor-wall junctures.
  • 3040 - Paper towel and soap dispensers installed above right drainboard of three-compartment sink.
    Relocate or remove these dispensers --these devices shall be installed at HANDSINKS--the three-compartment sink shall not be used for handwashing. Also, soap could contaminate clean, sanitized food equipment.
Comments:
No foodservice operation observed at time of evaluation. Ensure chlorine test strips are provided as well as a metal stem food thermometer (digital).

    Seal wood.

    Clean and sanitize equipment.
  • 1790 - Inside of top microwave needs some cleaning.
    Clean interior of microwave.
  • 2000 C - Single service cups stored on floor.
    Store at least 6 inches above the floor.
  • 3045 - Handsink does not have handwash sign
    Provide hand wash sign.
Comments:
Issued 2009 permit, reviewed employee health and imminent health hazards.
