A two compartment sink and an additional sink were installed for warewashing, also a handsink was installed in the small room by the breakfast room. Good compliance.

  • 0080 - Critical Employees or applicants are not aware of the reporting procedures concerning information about their health and activities as they relate to diseases that are transmissible through food, including the date of onset of jaundice or of an illness due to Salmonella Typhi, Shigella spp., Escherichia coli O157:H7 or Hepatitis A virus.
    Have the license holder require employees or applicants report to the person in charge any information about their health and activities if they are diagnosed with or had a past illness from Salmonella Typhi, Shigella spp., Escherichia coli O157:H7 or Hepatitis A virus.
  • 1100 - Using a pitcher to dispense milk.
    Provide individual commercially containers of milk or dispense milk using an approved commercial bulk dispenser.
  • 1320 - There was no temperature measuring device located in the cooler and freezers.
    Provide a temperature measuring device in all hot or cold holding equipment used to store potentially hazardous foods so that employees can routinely monitor the ambient air temperature.
  • 1460 - A handsink in use for warewashing.Employees are using an alternative manual warewashing method that has not been approved by the health department.
    Discontinue use of this alternate warewashing method until it can be reviewed and approved by the regulatory authority.
Comments:
Continental breakfast limited menu. Completed food application and fee received 11/24/08. Discussed PIM #05-01, risk factors for foodborne illness, employee health, new regulations major food regulations changes and proper sanitation of food contact surfaces with PIC. Information handouts were provided also. This facility does not have a warewashing equipment (2 comp sink) PIC was requested to install the equipment by 12/16/08, this time frame will be discussed with HD supervisor and manager for approval.
