Discussed with PIC: the physical facility is in need of some repairs - EHS has noted these hazards on this establishment's reports since January 9 ,2009;
This facility has made satisfactory progress in correcting all violations noted on March 6, 2009 - therefore they are removed from enforcement. In future inspections, if the numbers of repeat violations fall within the guidelines of the enforcement policy, the establishment will be placed under enforcement and a Notice of Violation will be issued.
Food temperatures were not taken during this inspection.

Discussed with PIC: this facility has had almost 2 months to correct the items noted on 1/9/09 and have not done so - the ceiling and walls are coming down in various places. The grout on the floor is missing throughout the kitchen therefore there are many places where water has pooled; cleaning of the fruitista freeze machine.
Due to the number of repeat violations, this establishment is being placed under enforcement.
Discussed with PIC: Enforcement Policy: Having 3 or more repeat critical violations or having 10 or more repeat violations resulting from a combination of both critical and noncritical violations, the facility will be placed under enforcement. Evaluated the facility due to a fire that occured on October 20, 2005 at approximatedly 7:00 P.M. The cheese steamer caught on fire and sanitized water was used to extinguish the fire. The cheese steamer is stored on the preparation line. The manager on duty was instructed to discard all food on both sides of the prep unit and close the facility until it could be inspected by the Health Department. During the inspection, the entire prep line was observed cleaned and sanitized. The district manager stated that all food on the prep line was discarded after the incident. The cheese steamer is no longer in operating condition and will be removed from the premises. Facility is permitted to reopen for business.
