This visit was made to conduct a complaint investigation regarding a sewage backup. Upon investigation spoke to CFM who informed me that one of the bathrooms in the back classroom had backed up. The area had already been cleaned and sanitized upon my arrival. I also spoke with the plumber who stated that they have pulled emergency permits to begin some work on the pipes of the school in order to fix the problem. He mentioned that the work will be done in sections starting with one classroom which will be closed (no access to children or staff) when work is being done and that most of the work should be done after hours. He mentioned that the bathroom in the back near the food service area is not affected and did not back up. Facility was advised that if there is a sewage backup they are to close and cease food service operation immediately. The school has informed the parents of the situation through a letter. Bathrooms are still accessible and able to be used. No violation noted during this evaluation. | 10/24/2014 | Complaint | |
