Comments: SOURCE = NTSB ERA xxLAxxx, FSDO REPT, AON DAILY INCIDENTS AND NEWS MEDIA
Remarks: A/C WAS DESTROYED BY POST-CRASH FIRE. ABOUT 5 SECONDS INTO THE ROLLOUT A DEER APPEARED FROM THE WOOD LINE AND RAN INTO THE PATH OF THE A/C. THE DEER STRUCK THE LEADING EDGE OF THE LEFT WING ABOVE THE LEFT MAIN LDG GEAR AND RUPTURED AN ADJACENT FUEL CELL. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND THE A/C WAS STOPPED ON THE RWY, SPILLING FUEL AND ON FIRE. AN EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN WAS MADE AND THE CREW ESCAPED W/O INJURY.
