Remarks: ON A EXTENDED FINAL FOR RWY 19 AT KRLD AS I SAW A GROUP OF BIRDS IN FRONT OF ME HAD TO MAKE A FAST MOVE TO AVOID THE BIRDS SO I PULLED UP AND MISSED ALL BUT ONE THAT STRUCK THE TAIL OF THE PLANE (HORIZONTAL STABILIZER). LOOKED BACK AND SAW DMG. CONT STRAIGHT IN AND LANDED FINE.
