FROM HOW DE DESCRIBED THE BEHAVIOR AND FLT PATTERN I AM GUESSING TI TO BE A GULL. NO CARCAWS WAS FOUND IN THE AOA EVEN THOUGH PILOT REPTD BEING MID-FIELD WHEN THE STRIKE OCCURRED. THERE WERE SMUDGES ON EACH SIDE OF THE NOSE UNDER THE WINDSHLD. NO SOFT MATERIAL, FEATHERS OR BLOOD PRESENT. NO GOOD SAMPLE AVAILABLE. NO DMG. UPDATE: PAE SWEEPER PERSONNEL FOUND A WHILE WING (CROW) IN THE VICINITY WHERE THE STRIKE OCCURRED. THERE WS AN EXTREME WINDSTORM THE DAY THE WING WAS FOUND AND I SUSPECT IT WAS IN THE GRASS AND WAS BLOWN ONTO TWY A. WING WAS PARTIALL ROTTEN AND SMELLED INDICATING THAT IT HAD BEEN OUT FOR A WHILE AND NOT A FRESH STRIKE.
