Cottage Inn by the Sea

The Cottage Inn by the Sea is located on the bluffs of Pismo Beach, California and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The hotel is a favorite with many travelers to stay at because of the country décor, relaxed atmosphere, and the sundeck with pool that overlooks the ocean. The Cottage Inn features 80 individual rooms each with a fireplace, cable television, refrigerator and microwave, coffeemaker, bottled water, in-room safe, and data ports.

Cottage Inn also has amenities such as an onsite restaurant and spa. Couples and individuals can get massages, body treatments, facials, hands and feet, and various packages. The onsite restaurant, McLintock's features a variety of American fare and specializes in fresh seafood. Their steak and lobster dinner has repeatedly been voted one of the best meals in the area.

Attractions in the area include Hearst Castle, Monarch Butterfly Grove, and several Central Coast wineries. Hearst castle was the former estate of newspaper businessman William Randolph Hearst. It was turned into a museum and landmark for public tours and features over 90,000 square feet of lush gardens, unique architecture, and views overlooking the pacific. During January and February of each year the Monarch Butterflies migrate in large numbers to a grove just minutes away from the Inn. It is located right off of State Highway 1. The grove attracts several thousand visitors each winter.
