During the summer the museum is closed on Mondays, as well as being closed on Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, and New Years Day. Adult admission is $7.50 and there are discounts for seniors, children, and groups. The museum is a popular destination for school and tour groups and docent-led tours are available with a reservation beforehand. School groups can tour the museum free of charge.
