La Raza Galeria Posada

La Raza Galeria Posada in Sacramento endures as a multi-cultural center for performing arts and a community gathering place. Its location, just a few blocks west of Sutter's Fort State Historic Park, is convenient to the downtown Sacramento area.

This arts center offers education programs, exhibitions, literary events, musical performances, and community cultural activities with the intent of preserving the culture and art of Chicano, Latino and Native populations for future generations.

The non-profit museum exhibits permanent collections of Latino, Chicano, and Native art. Additionally, the center features visiting performers, ranging from singers and songwriters to poets and art historians. La Raza Galeria Posada states their mission as being a public place where people can gather and express themselves through art, music, and poetry.
