Palm Canyon


Palm Canyon trails located in Palm Springs, California is one of the most popular hiking and walking areas in the region. The paths are popular with tourists and locals and provide some beautiful scenery. Hikers find themselves amidst palm trees, waterfalls, and desert oasis rock formations that give it a unique feel to other hiking paths throughout the region.

To get away from the noise of the city hikers have to make a short one mile jaunt to get the feel of being out in nature. The trails are fairly short in distance and all seem to lead to an oasis point where people have described it as just short of heaven.

Many visitors enjoy taking their families on day trips where the adults can hike and the little ones can play in the streams and soft sand. Palm Canyon is often referred to as the hidden jewel of Palm Springs.

The canyon can be hiked year round from winter to summer because of the great California weather. There is also an Indian reservation where visitors can enter for a nominal fee of around $8 per person. Amenities such as food, water, and sundries are available at the reservation
