I decided to take my last 3 planned days, add the drive time, divide by 2 and get there a day early.

Also, with record highs in the 90s, the desire to sleep in an unairconditioned teardrop camper with 100 pounds of pets is not appealing to any of us. Plus I desperately needed a shower. Got a room.

I decided to leave today. The house has not closed but we expect it to close any day. My main reason for leaving before it closes is finding out California will be keeping 10% of my IRA withdrawal.
