God is always communicating with us, whether we are aware of it or not. God speaks in the parables of Jesus so that we can come into the knowledge of God (spiritual realm) through the Spirit of Understanding, in order to gain wisdom to move in His counsel and in His might....

Which sciences tend to have the most research assistant/technician/associate job opportunities...?
