Releasing The River From The Throne

Posted 04-23-2024 at 10:54 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

"Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal nations." Revelation 22:1-2 NLT

This supernatural river with healing properties flows from the throne and needs to be released on the earth from the supernatural...

April 23, 2024 - Exhortation

Posted 04-23-2024 at 08:06 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

All I really wanted was to order some fudge pecan topping. Not just any fudge pecan topping, but the kind you get at a place called the San Saba River Pecan Company. That's in San Saba, Texas.

This thing started on a trip I took to San Angelo last fall. I came away from that trip with two jars of the San Saba River Pecan Company fudge pecan topping which were sold at Eggemeyer's General Store. That's how I know about the product, and it was so good. At the...

Belief in God is not about avoiding some Eternal Hell.

The concept of belief in God as accepting a specific set of "precepts and doctrines of men" that please God and avoid some implausible Eternal Hell is incredibly myopic and misguided, IMO. First of all, it is incredibly self-centered and focused on "What happens to me?" This is exacerbated by the emphasis on rewards and punishments purportedly dispensed by God.

Our savage primitive ancestors needed to be "tamed and civilized." Using anticipation of reward...
