Last night I felt awful. Shoot, I felt awful all day. He came home and dinner was ready, he thought I wouldn't be cooking and we would just go out to eat. He needed to go and have a suit altered. I told him I just didn't feel well, I was going to stay home.

It was strange for me, for us. I usually go everywhere with him. As he pulled off the thought of ice cream popped in my head. Ice cream makes everyone feel better!

I wanted to call and ask him to bring home...

As we sat on the couch last night, both of us reclined and under my snugglie blanket the room seemed so quiet. It was New Years Eve and we were watching a movie together after spending the evening with some friends.

Last year we couldn't stay awake for the drop of the ball so we just woke up and kissed one another at midnight after waking back up.

Last night as we lay there in the darkness we faced one another, his arms wrapped around me pulling me completely close. I asked him if he knew long ago that I would love him the way I do.

He said, "Of course I did..." I asked him why and he told me that I have loved him the same, from the very beginning.

He knew that I would give to him all that I had, holding back nothing. That made me happy.

Tonight at dinner, he said something that I have always felt. I have never heard him say it, and I don't think I have ever told him my feelings on the matter....

We were discussing the need or lack of need for one another. He told me he could live without me but would rather have me in his life. There wasn't very much time in between myself and his ex so I asked him how he knew. How did he know if he needed me or not, or how did he know if it was better with me, than without....

Well today is the day. A year ago on this day I met him for the first time. We had been talking to one another for almost a month prior and this was the day.
