Posted 08-20-2012 at 08:00 AM by LookinForMayberry

I can drill into the tiniest bit of detail until I am thinking the whole universe is reflected in that iota of light or darkness. Deep caverns of blackness or light exist when one pinpoints the details. I have to recall that it is a big world -- universe -- collection of universes.

How GREAT Thou Art.

Light and darkness combine into so many degrees of light and darkness to form pictures of being that only God can understand because our individual perspectives are...

Another Day in Paradise

Posted 08-14-2012 at 06:26 PM by LookinForMayberry

DH is in the back room researching properties for his foreclosure flips, and I've been resting my arm in the sun room with my kindle or my laptop games. It's nice not to have homework to do, for a whole FIVE WEEKS!

Doggie Dad took Bigun on his morning walk to give me a break, so I spent an hour weeding before getting cleaned up and heading over to buy his birthday present. Afterward, I decided to stop at the blood center and donate -- big mistake! (The woman stuck me wrong and came...

Chögyam Trungpa's "THE END OF AMBITION"

Posted 07-31-2012 at 08:49 AM by LookinForMayberry

Posted 07-23-2012 at 03:51 PM by LookinForMayberry

In the past several months, as we walk along with Bigun, invariably getting the question: "He's so cute, is he a puppy?" we've explained: "No, he's three. He just thinks he's a puppy."

The other day Big' and I were walking home from a session of ChuckIt at the park, when a stanger in an Element drove up and stopped in the street. He calls out: "Is that the three year old puppy?"

It took me a few beats to realize he hadn't asked...

Brain Dead -- Time to Not Study! 8|

Posted 07-20-2012 at 03:40 PM by LookinForMayberry

I wanted to finish my Cost Accounting homework today, so I could work on the Income Tax over the weekend. I've got two problems left to do -- huge problems. I got them set up in Excel -- and bonked. I cannot put one more number into one more record. I am kaput.

DH just brought Bigun home from the school where he threw the ball for him for over thirty minutes. It's rained all day, so that's going to be his exercise. I am curling up with my fantasy novel and retiring from the world...
