People --- Good or Bad???

I hear many, many, many people say that it's hard to trust people these days or there aren't many good people in the world today....
And I wonder are the people that say these things good or bad people themselves?? Are they trustworthy?
I mean my parents used to say, "takes one to know one." So, apparently is a person says that another individual isn't trustworthy or they are a bad person... [pause] What denotes a bad person?
Is a person bad by their standards or yours? Or are bad people categorized by the world's laws, rules, and regulations??? I mean to call someone bad or good there must be standards in place. . . So, what standards denotes a person as being bad or good?
I digress, does that mean that person that said this about that individual is also a bad and/or untrustworthy person? B/c they must know the qualities and characteristics of these type of people.... And maybe there have always been bad and untrustworthy people in the world many of them, but the ease of access and technology has made certain crimes easier... I am sure if credit card fraud was as easy in the 50s/60s as it is today many people would have done it. . .
What I am really saying is I believe the ease of access, more opportunities, and technology play a significant role in the high-rate of crime today. Which denotes people as bad or good. But everyone would be a "bad" person if that had too... it's just in our nature. . .

Most people are not trustworthy. I think people are generally suspicious, because there are a lot of people out there who want to get over. They want to trick people and fool people. They do not feel good about themselves. Some people are quiet, who feel bad about themselves. Some try to embarrass and cheat people to make themselves feel better.
