In reply to: California should seek to join TPP on it's own.

Ultimately it seems as if states like California are being made to suffer because they are competitive in world trade, whereas other states cant even compete with huge tax incentives for businesses, need help from the govt yet again.
Reposting as a blog entry, as I'm utterly infuriated by this post. Please read original for context.

It isn't going to "work out," we have the same sort of schizoid duality in WA State. Also Oregon. The city dwellers are vastly Democratic, and some (many?) of those pretty Alt-Left in my observation and opinion.

I live so-called "Eastside", the greater Bellevue metro area. They are separated by the sizeable Lake Washington. At some point it will calve off from Seattle economically and we'll have a Dallas-Ft.Worth or Minneapolis-St. Paul sort of thing, but not quite yet. The freak-out Left politics are a bit less-thick out here, though it constantly amazes me how people with median $900K houses (through December) can actually believe that garbage about allowing in illegal alien swarms, failing to put American interests first, on and on. It's willful suicide. Well hey, guess what: not going to happen that way, it's a new dawn thank almighty God.

Seattle is more Left than San Francisco, some say, and that's saying a lot. I am one click from Alt Right, not being a believer in "White(dash) anything" as exclusionary but certainly being fully behind our new lawfully elected President and his awesome Cabinet picks, may they all be confirmed soon. He's already signed a few great executive orders and I hope his pen has plenty of ink to undo the enormous damage wrought thus far.

WA State won't be leaving, God forbid the freaks take up arms because there are millions strong who actually believe in the United States, under an extremist like Barack Obama or a reformer like Donald Trump. Governments come and go, Washington DC must stand.

CA won't be leaving, within the bounds of Posse Comitatus there'd be troops in the streets to stop it first. Then millions of actual Americans from the rest of California, and other states, to stop the far Left freakout insanity dead in its tracks.

Just saying.
