Spoiler

From 2020: https://www.city-data.com/forum/57877820-post885.html

4.7" is the 3rd most snow in Chicago after April 14th.

They broke a daily record twice this month on the 15th & 17th. 3 Aprils in a row with daily snowfall records.

Peoria, Illinois with 2.9" of snow this year after April 14th is 2nd most. Only 1 year since 1895 had more (1912). So a pretty historic snow event for them

In 136 yrs of records, Moline, Illinois saw the 2nd most snowfall after April 14th. Only 1912 had more for this time of year. Impressive 7.4"!

Even Detroit with 4.7" its the 4th most for this late. And they still have time to add to this total since they've gotten snow after April 20th
