Gonna be a tough holiday season.

Things are starting to get cranking in the healthcare facility I work in. The virus is officially running amuck and we are starting to fill up. They are rolling into the ER all day every day now. We have bodies in the morgue almost daily. Staff is getting tired and the stress is starting to take it's toll on us. It's not an easy time for healthcare workers at all.

Be thankful we are among you and we are courageous enough each day to show up for work no matter what department we're in. One lady that worked among us has died for her job and for her patients. I'm sure she won't be the last. Please lift all of us up in prayer if you're willing. All of us in healthcare could use it.

I will be working this Christmas. I have a terrible feeling that the crap is about to hit the fan after Christmas. We are mere weeks away from a field hospital and morgue trucks if things keep on the way they've been. Someone on another forum mentioned reading about a new strain in Europe that spreads even faster. So this thing is apparently gaining strength. So please...I beg of you on behalf of healthcare facilities everywhere...please stay home, please self distance, please wear your masks and lets work together to save lives.
