[quote=Knepper3;60426065]Yes this is a shameless plug but get a Realtor if you don't have one. Trust me I understand looking at houses is not easy w/ kids so get an agent to show you homes when it is good for the kids to look. You (nor your kids) are a bother, its all part of the job and the seller is paying for pretty much all your agent's costs.
Last year we had clients w/ 3 autistic kids (great kids though) and another in a wheelchair, they knew what their kids could handle and we worked around it, couple times rescheduled, and a few times needed to work around food breaks. Not the end of the world for anyone.
Also unless you are paying cash make sure to have your preapproval ready before you are.[/quote
Thanks for the motivation! We did search for homes in 2019 with two kids but what put us off was that after a great deal of interviewing realtors, we choose quite an experienced one only to realize he was too pushy..wanted us to use his lender, his inspector...blah blah..so the only way out his contract was to wait until his contract expired. has anyone else also found themselves in this same situation? What could one do?
