Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.
What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.
Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)
"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)
"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)
"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)
"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

The "Giants of Intimidation" have risen before many of the people of God -- representing circumstances from waiting for the breakthrough, to pressing issues, to demonic attacks, to accusations, to hopelessness.
The common denominator of these giants, whether the circumstances before the people of God are hard, discouraging and trying, or the breakthrough has begun and the change seems overwhelming – the purpose of these giants arising is to bring intimidation and to stop the people of God from moving forward in God's PURPOSE for their lives.
The intimidation screams lies about who God is and who they are. Their main assignment is to bring the people of God to a place where they would RETREAT.
STANDING IN HIS PEACE
As whirlwinds of glorious love are being released from the heart of the Father in 2021, and swirling in the midst of these whirlwinds is the Scripture, Song of Songs 2:13: "Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me."
As we position ourselves under these whirlwinds of love we are taken UP to a higher place. This higher place is higher and deeper -- it is a place of deeper intimacy and higher clarity.
In "positioning" before Him, in the secret place -- in the place of deeper intimacy, we step into Philippians 4:6-7: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
As we commune, the supernatural peace that is already ours in Christ becomes a TANGIBLE MANIFESTATION in our hearts and lives. Where in the "natural" their circumstances would usually lead us into tailspins of fear and intimidation, they stand in CONFIDENCE and PEACE in Him. We not only step "back into peace" but deeper into peace than ever before, because we have stepped DEEPER into His heart.
A NEW DAY OF DESTINY!
As we step out and face our GIANTS in 2021we declare the same thing:
"I KNOW who my God is. His name is FAITHFUL and the One who IS WITH ME AND GOES BEFORE ME."
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." - Hebrews 12:1
"My beloved responded and said to me, Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come along. For behold the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers have already appeared in the land; The time has arrived for pruning the vines." - Song Of Solomon 3:11,12
The VERY GIANTS of intimidation that have risen out of nowhere have been blocking something VERY KEY: "A NEW DAY OF DESTINY". On the other side of these giants of intimidation you are facing is your new day of DESTINY.
Can you not discern, this new day of DESTINY breaking forth around you? The early signs of advancing His PURPOSES and plans are bursting forth and the budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of flowers whispers, 'There is change in the air.'
Press in, go deeper -- your requests be made known to God and trust Him, for the TANGIBLE PEACE OF GOD that surpasses all understanding is about to make MORE SENSE to you than it EVER has. That peace of knowing WHO HE IS and who YOU ARE in Him, is about to see those giants slayed and you move into a new day of the DESTINY in Christ you were meant to have.
