Although true, hunters DO eat, at least the skilled ones do, my name derives from the world of horses.
And because the word hunter is in my name, people automatically think I'm a guy. Not even close.
Whenever I meet someone named Hunter I have to bite my tongue to keep from saying "That's my name, too!"

5. Long Strange Trip

I'm doing my best not to kill my cat, who is wandering through the fairly empty house crying. Can you imagine 4+ days going across country with THAT?? I'll let you know.
Got word that my horses are being picked up Friday. Oh yes, that pesky little health certification. Well a retired (almost retired apparently) vet came to my house and got the paperwork taken care of so they're good to go. I'll miss those knuckleheads but I'm hoping to catch up with them shortly. They'll be safe and secure. I won't have to worry about them.
Still looking for the perfect pallet, which at this point, I've realized will be plastic. I'll be paying by weight. My friend brought me the heaviest pallet in the world. No can do.
I've gotten most of my clothes sorted/packed and ready to donate. I need to pack up my donations and haul them out of here.
Still need to take that dog kennel up to the rescue. That would be a nice trip because Tehachapi is one of my favorite places out here. Nice lunch trip. Hour away.
So...I feel like I've got a long way to go. But I've gotten kind of far so...
