hunterseat df: Hunter Seat Equitation is a division that is judged on the ability and the style of the rider. The riders can be judged both over fences and on the flat.
Although true, hunters DO eat, at least the skilled ones do, my name derives from the world of horses.
And because the word hunter is in my name, people automatically think I'm a guy. Not even close.
Whenever I meet someone named Hunter I have to bite my tongue to keep from saying "That's my name, too!"

8. Long Strange Trip

The house has progressed. Please God, let me list it very soon.
I was able to weigh the trailer - 1300#. The Lincoln is rated at 2K so that's plenty of wiggle room to put a couple of things on board. I do plan to keep it down to a minimum. Don't want to push it.
Things are coming together. I've been using the wood stove for heat. Any dreams of showing the house with a nice stock of firewood in the shed has gone up in smoke (pun intended). I think I'll be out of wood in the next two days. I can then get the stove all shined up nice, throw away the old hearth rug, probably replace the seal on the door... I have a new hearth rug to throw down when the house shows. Once I'm out of wood I'll be working on burning up some of that propane sitting in the tank which is super expensive. Might as well use it!
Packing should be finished in the next day or so. I'm super motivated all of a sudden. Might be because I'm back on my vitamins. It's a bad thing for me to let them lapse.
The 40 acres in West Virginia I was drooling over for so long turns out has power lines running through it and a sub-station directly across from the little house I was hoping was salvageable. Nevermind (in Gilda Radner accent).
I'll go into more detail on the Little Guy teardrop camper next time. I finally figured out how I want to set it up for maximum sleeping comfort for me and the pets. A challenge to be sure!
- Irrigation busted pipe (froze) was repaired.
- The 2 story section has a new roof.
- Laundry water heater is wired in.
- Car and wonderful teardrop camper trip configuration has begun.
- Coolant system flush will happen tomorrow.
- Gray water leach field work is underway.
